PRIME Gallery presents a space for audiences to experience high quality, challenging, new artworks in a wide range of contemporary visual art media through solo/ group exhibitions, performances, publications and events. The gallery features work by artists near and far in six curated exhibitions a year.

 


URBANITY THRU THE LENS

A photography-based exhibition that payed homage to the banalities of everyday city living. Each piece played on the somewhat elusive term, urbanity, by juxtaposing cityscapes with those that embody and navigate through them.

The show featured works by Montreal-based Artist, LeDor and NY/NJ-based Artists; Catalina Aranguren, Marc Fusco, Timothy David Lang, Samuel Orrego, and Luke Walter.

ARTISTS WHO PRINT, focused exclusively on the medium of silkscreen printing. 

ARTISTS WHO PRINT featured a selection of silkscreen prints by Jay Batlle, Carole Feuerman, Bob Gruen and Shelter Serra, all of which were produced by Gary Lichtenstein Editions at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City, NJ.

A rare opportunity where people were able to get a hold of a signed copy of ROCK SEEN and engage in a brief Q&A with the most renowned rock-and-roll photographer of all time, Bob Gruen, and Master Silkscreen Printer, who has collaborated with over 90 artists, Gary Lichtenstein!


 
 

The Base 12 Project

The Base 12 Project, Focused exclusively on twelve artists from Apostrophe NYC. 

Base 12 is an experimental project run by Apostrophe NYC. The project groups together 12 emerging artists in a quasi-collective that works together to navigate the contemporary art world and forge an alternate narrative to how work is shown, experienced and sold. 

The 12 featured Artists are Caslon Bevington, Ryan Bock, Morell Cutler, Alana Dee Haynes, Kolter Hodgson, Charlie Hudson, The Love Child, Julia Powers, James Reyes, James Rubio, Bruno Smith, and Sei Smith.


wandering motion

Wandering Motion is an exploration of light and motion through multiple mediums of art. Open to multiple interpretations, each piece is a reflection and revealment of self. 

Featured Artists: Alissa Laurie, Maria De Los Angeles, Ginger Del Ray, Danielle Russo, Danielle-Marie "Muneca" Mullins, and Kayt Hester.
